In Riera Laia drawings, figures, usually human and mostly women, are moved theater characters in silent scenes. Based on a realistic basis, these characters, drawn accurately, use decorative elements, headdresses and costumes that evoke cultures of all time, perhaps even nonexistent countries, which is developing a game that unites premeditated ethnic costumes and making chronological errors.

The symbolic elements that seem to unite the figures recall pagan cults and rituals, meetings, theatrical vocals magical or willing to give a strong word. Although often reinterpretations of contemporary and tragic events of our time.
